A day-long, participant-driven event for people and organizations who provide sanctuary.

In response to the stressful economic climate and the increasing demand on resources like libraries, art spaces, and churches for sanctuary, Goodmeet @ SALT invites participants to explore the importance, costs, and responsibilities of providing the experience of sanctuary in NYC.

Rather than setting a schedule of speakers, we will facilitate participants from various disciplines to self-organize and to transform their questions and topics into a series of sessions related to the theme of "sanctuary".

Whether they provide sanctuary as a product, space, or service, Goodmeet @ SALT will help organizations to expand their peer networks across silos, industries and cultural divides.

Participants might use Goodmeet @ SALT for professional development, market testing, networking, knowledge sharing, R&D, and organizational problem-solving. We expect participants will explore how to design, build, market and administer sanctuary in NYC.
